The W.E.B Dubois Learning Center

Our reading program is designed to aid those students who are experiencing some difficulties with word recognition, pronunciation and comprehension. The program is essentially remedial and caters to grade levels one through eight. It consist of three basic groups: grade levels one through three, four and five, and six through eight.

The program is directed to meet the needs of students who may read anywhere from a few months to several years below their achievement level. Thus, the main objective is to assist these students in their efforts to achieve their potential reading ability.
