MARY ALICE FRANCE

FOR GOVERNOR!

UNITY PARTY

VOTE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 1998

FOR INFORMATION CALL: (718) 642-7941

The Democrats and Republicans are both dominated by Wall Street and big money. We need a grassroots, multi-racial movement and party that brings together African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans, progressive whites and all working people who believe in justice and human rights.

The Unity Party was successful in getting over 20,000 signatures to get its candidate for Governor, Mary Alice France, on the ballot for the November 3, 1998 general election. Now we need at least 50,000 concerned, caring, progressive, independent-minded New Yorkers who will go to the polls and vote for Mary Alice France on Tuesday, November 3rd. That will make the Unity Party a recognized party in New York for the next four years. A vote for Mary Alice France is a vote for you, your family, and your future.

A vote for the Unity Party is a vote for a party that is committed to:
  • racial and economic justice
  • an end to police burtality
  • progressive tax reform to benefit low-income and working people
  • create jobs not jails
  • no cuts in services for seniors
  • build schools for 25-per-pupil classes
  • restore open admissions in our colleges
  • extend rent and tenant protections
  • build affordable housing
  • clean up toxic waste dumps and end incineration
  • end all forms of discrimination
  • support affirmative action
  • universal quality health care
  • and other reforms that put people before profits
